Abstract: MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are a class of non-coding RNAs associated with a variety of cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, heart failure and myocardial infarction. Expression of miRNAs changes during cardiac hypertrophy, which regulates cardiac hypertrophy by regulating cardiomyocyte autophagy, inflammatory response and energy metabolism. This article reviews the expression changes, potential targets and molecular mechanisms of miRNAs in cardiac hypertrophy.
