Abstract: Liver failure is a kind of acute and severe liver disease. Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) have the function of differentiating into hepatocytes. Promotion of the regeneration of hepatocytes regeneration, inhibition of apoptosis, necrosis and inflammation of hepatocytes, may facilitate repairing damaged liver tissue and improving liver function. BM-MSCs have become a new choice with great application potential in the treatment of liver failure.
