炎性反应在骨关节炎软骨退变中的作用

摘要: 慢性炎性反应是骨关节炎软骨破坏的一个主要原因。骨关节炎性环境下,软骨细胞异常活跃,细胞外基质重塑加快,引起软骨细胞生物力学环境的改变,进而推动病理进程。细胞外基质成分和结构的异常改变干扰骨髓间充质干细胞的成软骨分化,从而使软骨的修复无法进行。

Abstract: Chronic inflammation is one of the major causes of cartilage destruction in osteoarthritis. During the progression of osteoarthritis, extracellular matrix of cartilage (ECM) is actively remodeled by chondrocytes under inflammatory conditions. This alteration of ECM, in turn, changes the biomechanical environment of chondrocytes, which further drives the progression of the disease in the presence of inflammation. The changes in ECM composition and structure also prevent participation of mesenchymal stem cells in the repair process by inhibiting their chondrogenic differentiation.
