Abstract: Amino acids not only are materials for protein synthesis, but also are signaling molecules that activate Mammalian target of Rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1).mTORC1 translocation to the lysosomal surface is the key step to regulation of mTORC1 activity by amino acids. Lysosome associated proteins including RagGTPase,Ragulator,v-ATPase and SLC38A9,and some cytoplasmic proteins, such as GATOR,Sestrins, have an important role in regulation of mTORC1 translocation to the lysosomal surface.

Key words: mTORC1 pathway, Rag GTPase, Ragulator, v-ATPase, SLC38A9, GATOR, Sestrins
