Abstract: Stanford type B aortic dissection (TBAD) is a life-threatening aortic disease. Complicated TBAD patients require emergency surgical procedure to p-revent death caused by rupture or severe complication. The development of en-dovascular repair has shifted the management from extensive open surgical to minimally less invasive endovascular strategy. By reason of thoracic endovascu-lar aortic repair (TEVAR) could promote aortic remodeling and prevent late a-neurysmal dilatation, more and more evidences show that TEVAR is effective in the treatment of uncomplicated TBAD.
