Progress on Discoidin Domain Receptor1

Abstract: Discoidin domain receptor1(DDR1), a novel receptor tyrosine kinase(RTK), specifically binds to and is activated by collagen, consequently triggering a sequence of transmembrane signal transmission functions of cells. Many disease processes such as the development of tumor, inflammatory response and fibrosis have abnormal expressions of DDR1.
