Abstract: The airway inflammation is the nature of asthma. Although symptoms can be well controlled by corticosteroids andβ2-agonists, viral respiratory tract infections can still cause exacerbations. The defect of inherent and adaptive immunity impaired the the antiviral response, with the synergetic effect of allergic inflammatory reaction. The better understanding of the mechanism will provide new prevention and treatment of the disease.
