Abstract: Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is an important coregulatory factor in cells. The metabolic disorder of NAD+ is closely related to the damage of cell function, physiological changes and the occurrence and development of diseases. The decrease of NAD+ level is accompanied by the occurrence of metabolic and age-related diseases such as aging, hearing impairment and cardiac damage. Therefore, it provides a new idea for the treatment of these diseases by supplementing and restoring the level of NAD+.

Key words: nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, metabolism, aging, hearing impairment, cardiac damage
