摘要: 斯钙素-1(STC1)作为一种参与调节血钙磷代谢平衡的糖蛋白激素,在肿瘤中也具有促进肿瘤细胞增殖、抑制凋亡、促进侵袭和转移、促进血管形成以及适应低氧微环境等重要作用。STC1有希望成为一个新的肿瘤标志物应用于恶性肿瘤的临床诊断、治疗和预后评估等。

Abstract: Stanniocalcin-1(STC1) was initially discovered as a glycoprotein hormone keeping the homeostasis of calcium and phosphate. In addition, STC1 also plays an important role in cancer. STC1 promotes proliferation, angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis and inhibits apoptosis and hypoxia. Emerging evidences show that STC1 may be the next new biomarker, which will be useful for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of cancer.
