Mechanisms of cell death and proliferation of aldosterone-producing adenoma

摘要: 醛固酮产生腺瘤(APA)是原发性醛固酮增多症(PA)的主要病因之一,目前对于其自主分泌醛固酮机制的研究主要集中于体细胞驱动基因突变的筛查。然而,在APA中,肾上腺皮质细胞的死亡和增殖,以及腺瘤的发生和发展的具体机制尚无定论。本文结合近期已发表的肾上腺组织相关的基因组学、转录组学、代谢组学及表观遗传学等的研究,综述APA中细胞死亡与增殖机制的研究进展。

Abstract: Aldosterone-producing adenoma (APA) is one of the main causes of primary aldosteronism (PA). Current researches on its autonomous secretion of aldosterone mainly focus on the detection of somatic driver genetic mutations. However, the specific mechanisms underlying the death and proliferation of adrenal cortical cells and the occurrence and development of adenomas are still unclear. This study aims to review the research progress on the mechanisms of cell death and proliferation of APA by combining previously published studies on genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and epigenetics related to adrenal tissues.
