Abstract: As part of the educational reformation in the Peking Union Medical College，an Anatomy Surgical Demonstration (ASD) course was initiated to supplement the regular anatomy teaching．The clinical cases were carefully selected，and students were divided into small groups． The ASD course includes the following steps：students preparation for the course together with faculties from clinical and basic medical departments，clinical lectures，demonstration of surgical operation or video，students practicing，after-class summary，etc．The students not only reinforced their knowledge in anatomy，but also further understood the clinical application of the knowledge．During the meantime，their motivation and teamwork collaboration behavior were adopted．
