基于问卷调查的研究生基因分子生物学实验课教学效果初探

Effect of teaching based on questionnaire survey of the course molecular biology experiment for postgraduates

摘要: 目的 充分了解研究生的专业背景、选课目的及学习需求,供授课教师参考,以利于教师提升授课质量。方法 以本校2017-2018学年度第二学期选修“基因分子生物学实验”课程的62名研究生为对象,进行问卷调查,了解学生专业、知识背景、选课原因及学习需求等,收回调查问卷后汇总统计并分析。结果 选课学生以硕士、科研型研究生为主,大多学习过基因分子生物学相关的理论知识,但缺乏相关实验技术的训练。细胞转染、荧光定量PCR、萤光素酶报告基因检测、和细胞凋亡检测等,是学生最希望学习的4项实验技术。结论 通过问卷调查,能够掌握学生的专业背景,了解学生的选课目的和切实需求。调查结果能够给授课教师很好的参考,在课堂上能够更合理的分配理论知识、实验操作的方法和技巧、注意事项等各个部分内容讲解的时间,并为课程改革提供依据。

Abstract: Objective To investigate the postgraduates’ professional background and the purpose of the course choice, for improving teachers’ concepts and methods of teaching. Methods We designed the anonymous questionnaire, including the postgraduate’s professional background, the purpose of the course choice, the mastery of the experimental technology before the class, and the expectation of the student for teaching about theoretical knowledge, the methods and techniques of the experimental operation, the precautions and so on. The questionnaires were collected and analyzed the after the investigation. Results The students are mainly masters and research postgraduates. Most of the students have studied the theoretical knowledge of molecular biology, but they lack the training of experimental techniques. Cell transfection, quantitative PCR, luciferase reporter gene detection, and cell apoptosis detection, are the four experimental techniques that students most want to learn. Conclusions Through the investigation, we have known the professional background of the students and the purpose and practical needs of students.The results of the investigation can be a good reference for teachers to controlling the teaching time of the theoretical knowledge, the experimental operation, the matters needing attention, and so on.
