Abstract: Objective This paper aims to popularize preventive and treatment knowledge of diabetes for diabetics, enhance their self-management ability and slow the progress of diabetes and reduce its complications. Methods This paper applies the research method of giving intensive management to the health education for 90 diabetics, and comparing the change of their blood sugar, blood fat, glycosylated hemoglobin and life style before and after the intensive management. Results Through three-month's intensive management, there has been a distinct decrease in levels of patients' fasting blood sugar, two-hour postprandial blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin respectively (P＜0.05). The irrational structure and intake of the three major nutrients have been significantly improved. There has also been a great increase in the amount of effective exercise. Conclusion The intensive management of the health education on diabetes is significantly important to prevent and cure diabetes.
