Abstract: Objective To explore expression changes of high affinity IgG receptor Fc-gamma Ⅰ type(FcγRⅠ) in brain cortex of patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD). Methods Normal human brain tissue samples and brain tissue samples with neuropathological diagnosis of AD, wild type mice and APP/PS1 mice were used. Immunofluorescence and Western blot were used to define cellular localization and expression of FcγRⅠ in cerebral cortex. Results FcγRⅠ was generally expressed in neurons of human and mouse cerebral cortex. Compared with normal human brain, FcγRⅠ expression in AD human brain cortex decreased significantly(P<0.05). Compared with wild type mouse brain, FcγRⅠ expression in cerebral cortex of AD mouse models also decreased significantly(P<0.05). Conclusions The expression of IgG high affinity receptor FcγRⅠ in AD human brain and cerebral cortex of AD mouse models decreases significantly that suggestes that FcγRⅠ is potentially correlated with AD neuropathological pathogenesis.
