Abstract: Daam1(Dishevelled-associated activator of morphogenesis 1) is a member of the formin proteins, which contains 1,068 amino acids and is widely expressed in human tissues. Abnormal activation of Daam1 in breast cancer cells is closely associated with the metastasis and invasion of breast cancer. Given its important function in process of breast cancer metastasis, Daam1 may be the new molecular target for targeted therapy of breast cancer.
