Abstract: Brucella is an intracellular bacterium responsible for brucellosis, a worldwide zoonosis. It acts as a stealthy pathogen and modulates host immune responses. Brucella has developed well organized strategies that allow it to evolve and interfere with innate immune recognition , Understanding the innate immune responses triggered by Brucella is critical for the development of new vaccines, and prevention and control of brucellosis.
