Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) printing could produce solid objects of any shape or geometry using additive manufacturing. In recent years, 3D printing has been introduced in simulation training of anesthesia. It can print simulation-training models of any shape with high-fidelity according to the clinical and training needs, and help residents to practice important clinical skills. Currently, 3D printing is already deployed in the simulation training of neuraxial blockade, difficult airway and tracheotomy, and fibreoptic bronchoscopy and double-lumen bronchial tubes, which have gained positive feedback from the residents being trained.
