Abstract: Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA, >200 nt)can interact with DNA, RNA, protein molecules and/or their combinations. lncRNA is an essential regulator in transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation and act as tumor promoter or suppresser in colorectal cancer. Misexpression or mutation of lncRNA play an important role in cancer genesis, development, invasion and metastasis and close related to patient prognosis. Taken together, lncRNA may be an important target for colorectal cancer diagnosis and treatment.
