Abstract: Many research results have shown that the effect of estrogen on matrix metalloproteinase is very complex. For example, the influence on different matrix metalloproteinases under different circumstances in different histiocytes is different. In addition, the effects can be observed on the levels of messenger RNA and the expression or the activation of proteins.
