Abstract: Abstract：　Objective 　To identify the distribut ion feature ofβ1 - ARArg389Gly gene in the Hans in Guangdong Province. Methods :224 health individuals were selected to genotyped atβ1 - ARArg389Gly receptor genes by the technique of polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Results: It was shown that the gene frequency ofβ1 -AR Arg389Gly was as followed ;genotype frequency : Gly/ Gly 9. 28 % ,Gly/ Arg 45. 46 % , Arg / Arg 45. 26 %. Conclusions :β1– AR Arg389Gly genes distribution in the Mans of beifang is different from those in other areas.
