Abstract: Protein degradation via ubiquitin-proteasome system(UPS) is involved with a wide variety of signalling pathway, from cell cycle and transcription to development. The mass spectrometry-based proteomics techniques are powerful tools in the research of UPS. The recent advance in the study of UPS by proteomics techniques are briefly reviewed.
