Research progress of sepsis complicated with capillary leakage syndrome

Abstract: Sepsis is a common and fatal disease with high mortality. Sepsis is a life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by abnormal host response to infection. Some patients also complicate with hypo-albuminemia, hypotension, oliguria, edema and other phenomena, namely capillary leakage syndrome (CLS). Sepsis with CLS is a complex disease urgently needs active treatment, but a successful treatment must be based on in-depth understanding of the pathogenesis and combined with clinical treatment experience.
