Advances in the application of zebrafish in the study of acute kidney injury

摘要: 急性肾损伤(AKI)是临床常见的危急重症,以肾功能的突发持续下降为特征。斑马鱼作为一种脊椎动物模式生物,在肾形态、生理和功能方面与人高度相似,是理想的研究肾脏疾病的动物模型,弥补了哺乳动物模型的不足。本文将简述斑马鱼肾脏的结构和功能、在AKI研究中的建模方法以及斑马鱼模型应用于AKI研究的优势。

Abstract: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common critical illness in clinic, characterized by a sudden and continuous decline in kidney function. zebrafish, as a vertebrate model organism, is highly similar to human being in terms of kidney morphology, physiology and function, and is an ideal animal model for the study of kidney disease, which makes up for the deficiency of mammalian model. This review briefly described the structure and function of zebrafish kidney, the modeling methods and its application in AKI research.
