Abstract: The extensive application of transnasal endoscopy for the treatment of rhino-orbital related diseases s ophthalmologists to master the skill in lacrimal surgery. Unlike other ocular surgeries, endoscopic endonasal procedures requires a thorough understanding of the anatomical structures inside the nose as well as the skilled use of endoscopes, which makes the training more specialized and difficult. The step-by-step mode combined with other learning methods is designed to enhance surgical skills and shorten the learning curve during residency and fellowship training. It is anticipated to promote the minimally invasive and precise targeting therapy for lacrimal diseases.
