Abstract: Objective Resident standardized training is required by the ministry of health in China. A new method of simulation teaching is being tested in department of internal medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Methods A questionnaire survey was carried out in the trainee. Simulation teaching was used in some of the residents. Results Most of the trainee didn’t have enough exposure to critical patients care, and they wanted more training to improve their clinical capability. A protocol of simulation teaching has been well established. Conclusion Simulation teaching should be helpful to improve the resident standardized training in Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
