Clinical application of PBL combined with multiple pedagogical methods in training of communication between doctor and patient in pediatrics

Abstract: Objective To investigate the application effect of PBL combined CBL and scene simulation teaching method in pediatrics communication course of doctor and patient. Methods 53 students from chinese Academy of Medical Sciences were selected, 26 students received regular PBL teaching method as the control group, Another 27 students received PBL combined with CBL and scene simulation teaching method as the observation group. Score assessment score, related knowledge, classroom teaching effect and learning promotion among the two groups were compared. Results Students in the observation group had a higher assessment score, related knowledge in pediatrics score, teaching effect score and learning promotion score (P<0.05). Conclusion PBL combined with CBL and Scene Simulation teaching method can optimizing the learning atmosphere in pediatrics, improving communication skills between medical students and children and family members, promote learning,it is worthy of clinical application.
