摘要： 波形蛋白是中间纤维家族中的一种重要成员，主要存在于中胚层来源的细胞中。新近研究发现，波形蛋白的表达和分布位置的改变，可以影响细胞完整性，细胞信号转导，细胞生长、迁移、凋亡和基因表达等多种功能，从而引发一些疾病，本文综述了波形蛋白与疾病发生和诊断方面的研究进展。

Abstract: Vimentin is an important member of intermediate filament family in mesenchymal cells. Recently, several researches revealed that the changes of vimentin expression and distribution played important roles in regulating cell growth, migration, apoptosis, signaling, gene expression, as well as cellular integrity. Thus, vimemtin had relationships with some diseases, and this article summarized the progress in this field.
