Abstract��OBJECTIVE Emergency management is an important duty of the government and an important part of realizing the modernization of the governance system. Under the environment of information transmission more transparent and faster, emergencies have greater impact on the public and lead to social emergencies. Therefore, higher requirements for government management capabilities are put forward. To provide a reference for improving China��s drug emergency management system by combing and analyzing the experience of foreign drug emergency management.METHODS Through literature research, expert consultation and other methods, this paper focuses on the experience of US drug emergency management. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION The US drug emergency management system has outstanding characteristics such as sound laws and regulations, strong integration of organizational systems, perfect information management system, comprehensive emergency reserve system, and professionalization of management teams. It is of positive significance for promoting the accelerated construction of China��s medical emergency management system.
