Abstract�� OBJECT��E To study the chemical constituents of Ginkgo biloba kernel. METHODS The chemical constituents were isolated by silica gel chromatography��and their structures were elucidated by physical-chemical and spectroscopic data. RESULTS Nineteen compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as hexacosanoic acid(��)��palmitic acid(��)�� ginnol(��)��β-sitosterol(��)��2��3-dihydroxypropyl hexadecoate(��)�� ursolic acid(��)�� sciadopitysin(��)�� ginkgetin(��)�� isoginkgetin(��)�� daucosterol(��)�� ginkdolide A(��)�� ginkdolide B(��)�� ginkdolide C(����)�� uracil(����)�� coniferin(����)��liquirtin(����)�� adenosine(��)�� D-glucose(����) and sucrose(����). CONCLUSION Compounds ��������-���� are obtained from this plant for the first time��compounds ��-������-�� and ���� are obtained from Ginkgo biloba kernel for the first time.
