Abstract��
OBJECTIVE To establish the necessary analytical methods for the determination of main components in cardioplegic infusate. METHODS The contents of potassium chloride,calcium chloride,magnesium chloride and procaine chloride in cardioplegic infusate were determined by sodium tetraphenylborion method,disodium edetate method and sodium nitrite method,respectively. RESULTS The average recoveries of potassium chloride,calcium chloride,magnesium chloride and procaine chloride were 100.3% (RSD=0.26%)��99.91%(RSD=0.51%)��99.83% (RSD=0.52%) and 100.9% (RSD=0.54%),respectively. CONCLUSION The results indicated that the methods were accurate and reliable with good reproducibilities.This study provided a quality control method for cardioplegic infusate.
