Direct Chromatography Separation of Six Pharmaceutical Racemates on a AGP Chiral Stationary Phase

OBJECTIVE To develop HPLC methods for the enantiomers separation of six pharmaceutical racemates including naftopidil,tamsulosin,carvedilol,racecadotril,sibutramine and rosiglitazone.METHODS The separation was performed on chiral AGP with the mobile phase consisting of ammonium acetate or potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution-acetonitrile.Several parameters on separation were studied.RESULTS Baseline separation was easily obtained in all cases.CONCLUSION The methods developed in this study can be used for separation of six pharmaceutical racemates conveniently.
