A preliminary study on virtual stimulation diagnosis and treatment combined with PBL model in standardized training for hematology

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate virtual simulation diagnosis and treatment combined with PBL (Problem-Based Learning) teaching mode in the training of residents. Methods: From 2017 to 2019, 78 physicians trained in the Department of Hematology of Drum Tower Hospital, were selected as the research subjects. The control group (traditional teaching) and the experimental group (virtual simulation diagnosis and treatment combined with PBL ) were randomly divided into two classes. Compare the final scores of the two groups in the final examination, and based on the results, conduct a comprehensive assessment of clinical thinking ability of students and implement targeted teaching.Results: The theoretical scores and OSCE (Objective Structrual Clinical Examination) scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: The use of virtual simulation diagnosis and treatment combined with PBL mode has achieved better results in regular teaching of hematologists than traditional teaching mode, and it is worth promoting.
