Abstract: The procedure of employing induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology for in vitro disease modeling is as follow: 1) generation of patient-specific iPSCs; 2) characterization of iPSCs; 3) differentiation of iPSCs into disease-relevant subtypes; 4) utilization of iPSCs and subtypes to recapitulate features and development of the original disease; 5) pharmacological interventions.
