CircRNA_23113 inhibits the proliferation and migration of lung adenocarcinoma cells

Abstract: Objective To explore the expression of circRNA_23113 in lung adenocarcinoma and its influence on the proliferation/migration of the adenocarcinoma cells. Methods Screening 5 cases of lung adenocarcinoma and adjacent tissues by high-throughput sequencing from which screened out the differentially expressed circular RNA circRNA_23113. Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect the expression of circRNA_23113 in the adenocarcinoma tissues, serum and cells; the over-expression plasmid of circRNA_23113 was constructed, and its effect on cell proliferation and migration was measured by CCK-8 method, clone formation experiment, cell scratching and Transwell chamber method; Western blot was used to detect the expression of β-catenin, cyclin D1 and c-myc protein. Results CircRNA_23113 was significantly less expressed in tissues, serum and cells of patients with lung cancer (P<0.05); Over-expression of circRNA_23113 inhibited the proliferation and migration of A549 and H1299 cells(P<0.05); CircRNA_23113 inhibited the expression of β-catenin, cyclin D1 and c-myc(P<0.05). Conclusions CircRNA_23113 is poorly expressed in lung adenocarcinoma, and over-expression may inhibit the proliferation and migration of lung adenocarcinoma cells.
