Application of social hotspots on case-based teaching method during the teaching of endocrinology

Abstract: In order to improve the quality of clinical endocrinology courses, social hotspots penetrated into professional instructions of endocrinology and well tailored with curriculum knowledge. Social hotspots merged into the case-based teaching can enrich teaching materials and broaden students' scope of knowledge; enliven classroom dynamics and make teaching more efficient. In addition, precise selection of hotspots can make the learning more interesting. This paper introduced the application cases of hotspots in endocrinology teaching, analyzed the advantages of such a method as compared to conventional methods. In addition, the paper made practical suggestions for maximizing the learning outcomes to support the education of talent medical students.
