Abstract: Objective To apply and to evaluate the flipped classroom on experiment course of medical biochemistry. Methods Totally 145 medical students of Grade 2015 and 2016 were enrolled to implement the flipped classroom teaching, Self-Rating Scale of Self-Directed Learning(SRSSDL) and questionnaire survey table were used to analyze the teaching effect. Results Compared with the results of former flipped classroom teaching, the scores learning awareness, learning performance, learning strategies, evaluation and communication skills increased significantly(P<0.05).The self-learning capacity, operation level and innovation capacity also increased. Students have high recognition of flipped classroom. Conclusions It is benefit to improve teaching effect of biochemistry experiment owing to apply flipped classroom correctly and effectively.
