Abstract: Recent studies have shown that the defect of fumarate hydratase (FH) may be related to the formation of uterine leiomyoma. This article reviews the biological characteristics of FH, the possible reasons for the formation of uterine leiomyoma caused by FH defect and the expression of different types of uterine leiomyoma. The aim is to provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of uterine leiomyoma.
