Abstract: Dry eye is one of the common clinically chronic disease of ocular surface, mainly characterized by the stability of tear film decreased and the ocular surface tissue lesions. The changes of tear film, the inflammatory reaction which based on immune and the neural regulation abnormality are the important factors in the occurrence, development of dry eye. Alterations in gene structure has become a new research direction, also computer image processing techniques and detection techniques of molecular biology gradually used in research and diagnosis of dry eye.
