Abstract: Objective To detect the expression of the large tumor suppressor homolog 2(LATS2) in human epithelial ovarian cancer tissue and to analysis the correlation with the tumor progression. Methods RT-PCR、SYBR Green quantitative real-time PCR and Immunohistochemistry were employed to detect the expression the of LATS2 mRNA and protein. Results The expression of LATS2 mRNA in epithelial ovarian cancer was significant lower than that in benign,and normal group(P<0.05),and there are obvious connection between stage and metastasis of lymph node (P<0.05).The LATS2 was mainly located in cytolymph .The expression of LATS2 protein in epithelial ovarian cancer group was significant lower than that in the other groups(P<0.05).There are same results between the different stage and metastasis of lymph node. Conclusion LATS2 might play a role in the tumorigenesis of epithelial Ovarian cancer. It maybe has certain progression for early diagnosis and forecast of ovarian cancer.
