Abstract: Objective To detect the membrane location of endogenous PS1 on live cells. Methods HEK293 and Hela cells were transfected with fusion proteins by attaching GFP-PS1.The cellular location of endogenous and exogenous PS1was characterized with antibody by indirect immunofluorescence technique. Results Endogenous and exogenous PS1 was found locating on the nuclear membrane and a little and inhomogeneous distribution in cytoplasm. Conclusions Endogenous PS1 located on the outer membrane of the unfixed and live cells.
