Abstract: Graves' disease(GD)is an organ-specific autoimmune disease with genetic background. The core pathogenesis of GD is immune factors, but genetic factors also play an important role in it. The susceptibility genes of GD are mainly divided into immunoregulatory gene and thyroid specific gene. The polymorphism of immunoregulatory gene may have some impact on the susceptibility of GD through various mechanisms, which may provide new ideas for the further study of the susceptibility genes and pathogenesis of GD.

Key words: Graves' disease, susceptibility gene, gene polymorphism, immunoregulatory gene
