Abstract: Professor Huang Jiasi is the founder of biomedical engineering in China. He advocated and established the biomedical engineering discipline in China, strengthen the international exchanges, and push the development of biomedical engineering in-depth. He made outstanding contribution in the rise, opening up and development of biomedical engineering in China.
