北京协和医学院八年制医学生重症医学轮转教学改进效果的评估

Investigating the teaching demands and the effect of teaching improvement on training of critical care medicine by undergraduates of eight-year curriculum at Peking Union Medical College

摘要: 目的 了解北京协和医学院八年制医学生重症医学知识的教学需求及教学现状,改进教学安排并对改进效果进行评估。方法 2015年12月到2018年7月,医学生轮转重症医学科之前及完成后发放手机问卷并完成出科考试,针对调查结果完成教学设置改进后,对2018年9月至2019年8月期间轮转学生进行改进前后的教学效果比较。结果 共采集有效问卷及出科考试成绩142份,结果显示医学生的教学需求较强;学习难度较大的知识点是休克的复苏及呼吸衰竭的诊治;教学改进提高了各个知识点掌握程度,提高了出科考试成绩(P<0.01)。结论 调查中发现重症教学的难点和薄弱点,针对性的改进临床教学设置后,轮转学习效果得到较明显的提高。

Abstract: Objective To investigate the learning needs and learning outcome of rotation in critical care medicine by eight-year curriculum undergraduates at Peking Union Medical College(PUMC),and to evaluate the effect of the revised clinical training program. Methods From December 2015 to July 2018,the questionnaire survey through mobile phone was issued the students during the internship in critical care department and collected the survey paper after the internship was finished. The training program was modified based on the survey results.From September 2018 to August 2019, the same survey and examination were issued to the students and compare the learning outcomes before and after the change of training program. Results A total of 142 valid questionnaires and examination scores were collected. The medical students had a high enthusiasm for learning critical care medicine. Shock resuscitation and respiratory failure were more difficult to learn. The modified program did rise the degree of mastery and the scores of the examination(P<0.01). Conclusions Some weaknesses and learning barriers during the training of intensive care medicine were found. Modification of training program based on the results from the survey has significantly improved learning outcomes of undergraduates during the training of intensive care medicine.
