Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the flavanoids from the seeds of Oroxylum indicum(L.Vent. METHODS The constituents were isolated and purified by repeated column chromatography on silica gel,C18 reverse-phase silica gel and Sephadex LH-20. MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR spectral techniques were used for structural elucidation. RESULTS Fifteen flavonoids were obtained from Oroxylum indicum(L.Vent and their structures were identified as chrysin(1,baicalein(2,oroxylin A(3,scutellarein(4,aequinoctin(5,oroxin A(6,chrysin 7-O-β-D -glucuronide(7,chrysin 8-C-β-D-glucopyranoside(8,isoquercetin(9,kaempferol 7-O-β-D- glucopyranoside(10,chrysin 7-O-β-D-glucuronide ethyl ester(11,acacetin(12,norwogonine(13,isorhamnetin(14and hispidulin(15,respectively. CONCLUSION Compound 8-14 were obtained from Oroxylum indicum(L.Vent for the first time.
