Abstract

OBJECTIVE To determine the changes of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) accumulation and distribution in Haloxylon ammodendron parasitized by Cistanche deserticola. METHODS The Kjeldahl and ICP-AES METHODS were used. RESULTS The accumulation of N, P and K in Haloxylon ammodendron decreased when it is parasitized by Cistanche deserticola, and the distribution of these elements changed as well. CONCLUSION The N, P, K accumulation and distribution in Haloxylon ammodendron is changed when it is parasitized by Cistanche deserticola.
