Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG) protein binding rate with human plasma protein.METHODS Ultrafiltration was employed to determine protein binding rate of EGCG with human plasma.RESULTS The average human plasma protein binding rates of EGCG from the study were 86.1%,91.4% and 94.9% with plasma concentration of 5.0,10.0 and 20.0 mg·L-1,respectively.CONCLUSION EGCG has higher protein binding extent with human plasma.
