Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents of Phlomis medicinalis Diels.METHODS The compounds were isolated and repeatedly purified by macroporous resin,silica gel column chromatography,TLC and Prep-HPLC.Their structures were elucidated by physical and chemical properties and NMR spectra.RESULTS Seven compounds were obtained and elucidated as pulchellosideⅠ(Ⅰ),lamalbide(Ⅱ),7-epiphlomiol(Ⅲ),penstemoside(Ⅳ),β-dihydrohastatoside(Ⅴ),phloyosideⅢ(Ⅵ),decaffeoylacteoside(Ⅶ).CONCLUSION All the compounds were isolated from the plant for the first time.Compound Ⅴ and Ⅶ were obtain-ed from the Plants of Phlomis for the first time.
