Abstract
OBJECTIVE:In this study,the essential oil components of Valeriana officinalis were analyzed.METHODS:Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and supplementally identified gas chromatograph retention index were used.RESULTS:A total of 41 components were separated. 36 of them were identified, which accounted for 94.7% of the total peak area.The main constituents are bornyl acetate,camphene,3-thujene,β-pinene and sabinol.CONCLUSION:The reliability of the analysis results has been increased by using two analysis methods.
