OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constituents of the oils from Desmos Lour. METHODS: The oils were extracted by EtOH. The components were separated and identified by GC/MS/DS. The total ion current showed their percentages by area normalization method. RESULTS: More than 60 components were separated by GC/MS, and 48 compounds were identified. CONCLUSION: Ethyl benzoate and phenylmethyl benzoate were the main components in the oils from D. chinensis, D. grandifolius and D. yunnanensis but less in that from D. dumosus.
