Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To investigate chemical stability of magnesium gluconate oral solution and control its interior quality.METHOD:The constant temperature acceleration test was used according to the principles of chemical dynamics.The solution content was determined by optical rotation method.The reaction rate constant(K) and useful life of solution was studied by Arrhenius equation.RESULTS:The data were linear for time which was an agreement with the primary reaction of chemical dynamics.The stability test showed the solution stored at room temperature for 25.4 years.CONCLUSION:The preparation is stable.A theoretical basis is provided for magnesium gluconate oral solution.
